The world signifies the place of our service; the cross covers the world reminding us nobody is beyond the need of the gospel. The circle surrounding the world encompasses the ideas of belonging, and love at our local church. You may not have notice there is also a light aray that shines a spot light from the right to left, and top to bottom diagonally on the cross, world, and circle. This light represents that we are to be the light of the world shinning the glorious Gospel of light and love to a lost and dark world. The colors are representative of the blood of Christ (burgundy) which taketh away our sin, and the deity of Christ (gold), both of which were necessary for our eternal salvation.
